TO THE PARENTS OF KINDERGARTEN STUDENTS:
Kindergarten Orientation is scheduled for Thursday, August 23, 2007, from 6:00 – 7:00 pm, in the Kindergarten classrooms. From 6:00- 6:15 we will have “Meet the Teacher”, where your child can see the room and meet his/her teacher. At 6:15 the children will go to the playground with our principal, Mr. Hough, and the PE teachers, Coach Harkness and Coach Cox. We will have parent orientation at that time. If possible, please bring school supplies to orientation Thursday night. We look forward to meeting you.
KINDERGARTEN SUPPLY LIST:
2 - small bottles of Elmer’s School Glue
3 - large glue sticks (for ex. Elmer’s .77 oz. or Avery .74 oz.)
3 - pink erasers
5 - boxes 24 count Crayola crayons (No RoseArt, please)
1 - box 8 or 10 count Crayola Washable Markers (Broad tip)
2 - pkgs. 9 x 12 assorted construction paper
1 - pkg #2 pencils
2 - boxes 200 count Kleenex
1 - pair of FISKARS metal blade (BLUNT) scissors.
5 - laminated pocket folders without brads (Names on INSIDE only)
1 - pkg. Paper plates
1 - 3-ring binder (1 inch) (no zippers/trapper keepers)
1 - box of Ziploc sandwich bags (BOYS only)
1 - box of Ziploc gallon bags (GIRLS only)
1 - FULL SIZE backpack (no wheels)
Headphones for computer lab (label with name)
We understand that the supply list seems large, but these supplies should last your child for the entire school year. We generally do not ask for additional supplies during the year.
