This is only my 2^nd year to teach fourth grade. Prior to this, I had been a Special Education teacher. I never thought that I would enjoy doing anything else but Special Education. I was proved wrong. I have loved teaching fourth grade more than anything! Bottom line is that I love kids. I love them so much, I had three of my own. Cade, is 16 and a junior at Tom Bean High School, Tom is 10, and in fourth grade at Tom Bean Elementary, and Ms. Neenama, who is 6 months. I have been married to Chris Newell for 18 years, and we reside in Tom Bean.

 

Giving a student a place to feel comfortable to fail, is the best thing to do to promote success.
