In October 1997, I was hired to be the special education aide at Tom Bean Middle School. I worked as the aide for 9 years.  In 2000 I began working on my teaching degree at Grayson County College. I graduated from Grayson County College in 2004 with an Associates of Science in Elementary Education, Early Childhood -4 Certification.

 In December 2006, I graduated from Texas A&M Commerce with a Bachelors of Science, Inter Disciplinary studies.

 In August 2006 I became the special education at Tom Bean Middle School, where I taught for 2 years.

 Since August 2008 I have been teaching at Tom Bean Elementary as the K-3 Resource/Inclusion teacher.
