PRE-K and Kindergarten Registration

Tom Bean Elementary will be holding a PRE-K  pre-registration and Kindergarten registration for the 2008-2009 school year on Saturday, May 3, 2008 from 9:00 a.m. until 3:30 p.m.

Pre-K   Pre-Registration:

   The number completing registration will be used to determine the need for a PRE-K.

Only students meeting the requirements will be allowed to attend Pre-K. Tom Bean Elementary will only have a Pre-K if 15 or more qualified students pre-register.

   To qualify for enrollment in the Pre-K program: Your child must be 4 years old on or before September 1, 2008.  Your child must be income eligible or limited English speaking.  Your child may be non-English speaking (your child will be given a Language Proficiency Test - 4 years only) or if your child has a special need or disability.

   Please bring the following documents with you: Child’s Birth Certificate, Social Security Card, up-to-date Shot Record, Medicaid Card or Insurance Card (if applicable), Proof of Residency within the Tom Bean ISD showing the Physical address (within previous month- Electric or Water Bill), Annual ARD/IEP (if applicable), Income Verification- Previous one-month pay stubs, TANF or Food Stamp documentation letter, or letter from employer stating gross wages paid and how often paid.

Kindergarten Registration: Student must be 5 years old on or before September 1, 2008.

Please bring the following documents with you: Child’s Birth Certificate, Social Security Card, up-to-date Shot Record and Proof of Residency within the Tom Bean ISD showing the Physical address (within previous month- Electric or Water Bill).
